Woldingham School is an independent school for girls, located in the former Marden Park outside the village of Woldingham, Surrey. Founded in 1842, the school is a member of the global Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
In Year 7, girls study English, mathematics, science, theology, art, computer science, design & technology, drama, geography, health education, history, French, German, Latin, Spanish, music, physical education and learning enhancement.

Open Events for Woldingham School 11 plus (11+) Entry
The school holds Open Mornings and Information Mornings. Open Mornings are by appointment only and are held in May and September. Spots can be booked via an online form.
Small group Information Mornings for specific year groups and entry years are held in March, June and November (upcoming). You can register your attendance via an online form.

Woldingham School 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
The admissions process begins with registration. Completion of the Registration Form includes paying a registration fee of £150. Your daughter will then be invited to attend Taster events. However, these are not compulsory and girls are not assessed during them.
Prior to your daughter taking entrance tests, the school will request a reference from her current school. The entrance examination covers an online Pretest, along with a creative writing paper and an interview.
To accept an offer of a place, you will be expected to pay an acceptance deposit, held by the school until your daughter finishes her education at Woldingham School.
Woldingham School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
At 11+, the school offers the following scholarships: All-Rounder, Academic, Art, Drama, Music, Performing Arts, Sport and the ‘Local Girl’ Scholarship to local, maintained primary school candidates. Scholarships typically carry a reduction between 5-20% of day fees per year.
They are applicable for a student’s entire education at Woldingham, but only if she meets the expected standards of behaviour, attendance, performance and effort.
The school also offers means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees called Entry Bursaries. To apply for a bursary, you should reach out to the Admissions Department and request a bursary form, which will help establish the detailed financial circumstances of your household. The deadline for financial support applications is at the beginning of November. Incomplete forms will not be considered.

The Woldingham School 11+ entrance examination consists of the following papers:
- English writing
- ISEB Common Pretest
The English paper examines writing skills, including spelling, vocabulary and punctuation. Marks will be awarded for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesion and sentence structure.
The ISEB Pretest examines your child’s ability in skills such as numeracy, problem solving and vocabulary, with emphasis on how they think and how they respond to the curriculum. The test includes modules testing maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
