Introduction
Woodbridge School is an independent, co-ed school in Suffolk. Founded in 1577, it occupies 45 acres of wooded grounds overlooking Woodbridge. [1]
Pupils follow a broad curriculum, comprising maths, English, science, humanities, MFL, computing, music, sports, engineering, food technology, art, drama and mindfulness.
The list of extracurriculars is just as comprehensive, engaging children in a number of pursuits such as sailing, tennis, choir, gardening, LAMDA, jewellery making, ballet, tap dancing, chess and cookery.
Woodbridge’s pastoral care system focuses on maintaining the happiness, safety and health of pupils through active collaboration and strong partnerships with parents. The firm bonds between class teachers and pupils complement the warmth of the school’s community and enhance the learning experience for each child individually. [2]
Fully benefitting from the rich academic and non-academic provision and excellent quality of relationships with peers and staff as central to the school’s ethos, young Woodbridgians progress through the school with the skills to negotiate risk and make good life choices.
