Introduction
Hampton Court House School (HCH) is an independent day school which occupies a Grade II listed, 18th-century building on the edge of Bushy Park in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. After extensive refurbishments, the school opened its doors in 2001. [1]
The curriculum in Year 3 comprises an extensive range of disciplines, including English, humanities, mathematics, history of art, French, science, sport, art and Life Skills. Through lessons for Life Skills, HCH aims to introduce pupils to various cultures, religions and ways of life. As a result, children grow in a sense of tolerance and mutual respect very early on.
The selection of co-curricular activities is broad, including a number of pursuits such as judo, dodgeball, Mathemagician Club, tennis and yoga. Ensuring that all interests are met, the school is open to launching a club or society if pupils show initiative to pursue or foster particular hobbies.

The school advises all prospective families to visit the school campus during Open Days and learn about everything on offer at Hampton Court. Registration forms, accessed through this page, should be submitted together with a £150 registration fee. Following your registration, the school will reach out to schedule an examination, during which your child’s academic and social development will be assessed.
A confidential reference will be requested, and on the basis of its quality and your child’s performance in the assessment, they may receive an offer. A payment of a £1500 deposit is required to confirm the place.
