Introduction
Leehurst Swan School is a co-educational, independent day school in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Founded in 1914, it occupies a 6-acre site, a 19th-century building and a range of modern facilities. [1]
In the Prep Department, children are educated beyond the limitations of the national curriculum and lessons are delivered by both form and specialist teachers. Subject areas include mathematics, English, science, art, DT, music, MFL, PE and ICT.

Leehurst Swan Prep School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
The registration form should be submitted together with a fee of £50. Following the registration, your child will be invited to the school at a mutually convenient date to be formally assessed.
Subject to successful performance, they may be offered a place, to be accepted with a payment of a deposit.
Leehurst Swan Prep School 7 Plus (7+) Scholarships and Bursaries
Academic Scholarships are available to Year 3 entrants. The scholarship examinations take place in January of the calendar year of entry, testing your child’s literacy (English) and numeracy (Maths) skills.
The awards are valued at up to 30% of the fees and will be valid throughout your child’s time in the Prep School.

The Leehurst Swan Prep School 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:

- Mathematics
The English exam tests comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and oral skills.
