Introduction
Bridgewater School is an independent, co-ed school located in Worsley in Greater Manchester. Established in 1950, Bridgewater boasts a number of modern facilities, including an all-weather pitch, an indoor sports hall and a Drama studio. [1]

Bridgewater School 7 Plus (7+) Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships are only available to Senior School applicants. Some bursarial support may be available to 7+ applicants. Please contact the school for more details.
A number of free places are awarded each year to pupils from low and middle-income families. Only children attending a state Primary School in the locality, whose parents are recipients of either Working Families Tax Credit or Income Support, will be considered eligible. A letter of recommendation for such an award from the pupil’s current school will also be required.

The English exam tests comprehension and writing skills, including vocabulary and spelling, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and oral skills.
