Introduction
Rosedale House is part of the Stephen Perse Foundation, a family of independent schools. Located in Cambridge, the school educates roughly 140 pupils. [1]
The core subjects of maths, English and science are enhanced with teaching in the areas of humanities, MFL, performing arts, PE and digital learning. The curriculum provides children with further support by incorporating learning habits into the lesson plans, encompassing everything from curiosity and creativity to empathy and self-discipline.
Encouraging pupils to challenge themselves, gain independence and develop their social skills, Rosedale House organises a number of residential trips throughout the year. The school has even partnered with The Exploration Society, who run exciting expeditions during the holidays.
The most recent ISI report for this school has rated both the achievement and the personal development of students as “excellent”, noting that their attitude to learning is extremely positive, as are their conduct and communication skills. [2]
Leavers are characterised as confident and independent thinkers, who proceed on to adulthood with a winning mindset, coupled with high awareness of their social responsibility.
