Junior School Fitzwilliam Building 7 Plus (7+) Admissions

 

The closing date for 7+ applications for Year 3 entry to Fitzwilliam Building is in December of the year preceding entry. The registration fee of £200 is non-refundable. Please note that they will consider applications at any time of the year if spaces are available.

 

As part of the 7+ admissions process, your child will be remotely assessed. They will also be interviewed by the Head or a senior member of staff (in January). Offers are sent out later that month, with an acceptance deadline set for March. The acceptance deposit amounts to £300.

The Junior School Fitzwilliam Building 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:

 

  • English (online)
  • Maths (online)

 

The English assessment examines a number of skills, such as comprehension and writing. Spelling, punctuation and grammar questions will be included.

 

The maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including their knowledge of times tables.
