Abercorn School 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
If you wish to enrol your child at the school, you should complete and submit the registration form together with a £100 registration fee. The entry procedure includes assessments, typically carried out on Taster Day.
If an offer is made and you wish to accept it, you will be asked to return to the school a completed Acceptance Form together with a payment of a deposit, which will reserve your child’s place.
Abercorn School 8 Plus (8+) Scholarships and Bursaries
Abercorn School offers both scholarships and bursaries to 8+ applicants. Scholarships are mainly awarded in the areas of Sports, Music, Drama, STEM and Visual Art and are valued at 10% of fees.
In order for your child to be considered for these awards, you should complete a scholarship application form and return it to the school. Supporting documentation or media that testify to the child’s ability will be required. Please note that your child may also be asked to attend an informal assessment.
