Stafford Grammar School is a co-ed independent day school at Burton Manor, Staffordshire. Established in 1982, it is one of the top-performing schools in the county. Stafford Grammar occupies a beautiful building designed by Victorian architect Augustus Pugin and caters for over 400 pupils.
The school offers a broad education, underpinned by a balanced curriculum that includes English, MFL, computer science, DT, science and PSHEE. To secure pupils’ strong academic achievements, Stafford Grammar provides extensive pastoral care, addressing their individual needs in collaboration with parents.
A number of extracurriculars supplement the educational provision. Students get to choose from a range of sporting, creative and syllabus-related activities, boosting their learning capacity and facilitating their all-round development. Particular emphasis is placed on music, hence the school’s orchestra, choir and instrumental bands regularly perform both within Stafford Grammar and beyond.
Through overseas school trips, pupils explore the rich historical heritage of the countries they visit. They learn to appreciate differences early on, acquiring an in-depth understanding of the world outside the school gates with all its cultural abundance. Destinations have included France, Kenya, Germany and the US.
The school’s comprehensive educational philosophy complements the family atmosphere where pupils fulfil their potential with ease. Confident and articulate, they thrive throughout their time at Stafford Grammar and access further education with a ‘can do’ attitude.
