Ipswich School welcomes prospective families on campus during the Spring and Autumn Open Events, aiming to familiarise them with everything on offer through a broad programme of activities. Ipswich School 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
For 8+ entry, the school formally tests pupils in January of the year preceding entry. The examinations assess three types of skills, as well as applicants’ behaviour as observed throughout the day.
The registration form should be submitted together with a £50 fee (or £25 if a sibling already attends the school). If your child performs well and has a satisfactory reference form their current school, they may receive an offer of a place. The acceptance fee is £200.
