NOTE: Due to Covid, the 11+ Admissions Process for 2021 entry to Habs Boys has changed. The Round 1 exam consists of a Reasoning Test (similar to CEM Select), whilst Maths and English skills are assessed during the interview.
Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School offers an energetic and enthusiastic learning environment for inquisitive boys. At every stage of their development, the school’s curriculum has been purposefully designed to keep all boys involved, stimulated and eager to learn. This is a school that creates an environment in which it is normal for boys to excel.
Situated in Elstree in Hertfordshire, it welcomes boys from all over North London and Herts. Facilities include a cutting-edge sports centre, swimming pool, a new Science and Geography Centre (the Aske Building), a fully equipped Art Studio and Design & Technology Centre, a Drama Studio, a Music School with concert hall, a multi-purpose Library, and dedicated classrooms for all subjects. Outside there are grass pitches for rugby, football and cricket, a climbing wall and an assault course

Admissions Process for Habs’ Boys’ School Eleven Plus (11+) for Year 7 entry
An all school open day is held in October and you do not need to book. Visit the school’s website here for full details.
If you would prefer to visit on a normal school day, then you can apply to join a small tour. 11+ tours take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9:30am. To book, contact the Admissions Office on 020 8266 1700
To register, you must fill in the form found in the back of the school’s prospectus and send back to the school. You can request a prospectus by filling in this form.
Make sure you double-check the school’s website for cut-off dates and deadlines. It is normally at the end of November.
11+ Habs’ Boys’ School exams are taken in English (1hr 15mins), maths (1hr) and online reasoning, usually in early January.
