Introduction
Normanhurst School is a co-ed independent school in North Chingford, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is part of the four schools in the Oak-Tree Group, located within a 6-mile radius on the South West Essex/North London borders. [1]
Its Junior School offers a broad curriculum, aimed at maximising pupils’ literacy and numeracy skills, along with their knowledge in the areas of science, humanities, French, ICT, art and DT. Children’s physical wellbeing is boosted through lessons for PE & games and a number of club activities, including fencing, karate, running and yoga.

Normanhurst School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
To formally start the admissions process, you should register your child with the school. Online forms must be submitted together with a £50 payment of a registration fee.
In the following days, the school will get in touch to schedule an assessment day for your child. If your child meets their academic and behavioural criteria, an offer of a place will be made.
To secure it, you will be asked to pay a £500 deposit, half of which will be credited against the first term’s fees and the other half will be refunded at the end of your child’s final term.
