North Bridge House Senior Canonbury 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
Applications for Year 7 entry can be submitted online. The deadline is in the November prior to the year of entry. The application fee is £150.
Your child will then be invited to sit assessments, testing skills in two areas. There will also be a group interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Offers of places are sent out by mid February, to be accepted by the deadline indicated in the offer letter.

The school offers Scholarships to candidates who demonstrate excellence in their specific field, along with a proactive attitude towards school life. Scholarship applicants will be additionally assessed.
Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding performance in the standard admissions process and an additional interview.
Art Scholarships are offered following a portfolio inspection, an interview with the Head of Art and a drawing exercise.
Drama Scholarships recognise students with a profound interest in theatre, acting, directing, performing or other roles, who successfully perform a 1-2 minute dialogue from a published play.
Music Scholarships are awarded following an audition with the Head of Music.

The North Bridge House Senior Canonbury 11+ entrance examination consists of the following tests:
- English (45 mins)
- Mathematics (45 mins)
The English paper examines both comprehension and writing skills, including inference, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation. Marks will be awarded for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesion and sentence structure.
The maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills. The paper may include questions on number, measurement, geometry, algebra and statistics.
