Introduction
Park School for Girls is an independent day school in Essex. Its Preparatory Department, Park School Prep, is co-educational.
In the Prep School, class teachers deliver engaging lessons for a broad range of subject areas, including the core disciplines maths, English and science, while specialist teaching is offered for PE, French, Spanish and music.

Park School Prep 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
7+ assessments typically take place in February of the calendar year of entry. To be considered for these, your child needs to be registered with the school first. The registration fee is £40.

Park School Prep 7 Plus (7+) Exam Format
The Park School Prep 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:
- English Comprehension (60 minutes)
- English Writing (60 minutes)
- English Reading paper (45 minutes)
- Maths (75 minutes)
The English assessments examine comprehension and writing skills, including spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading skills.
The Maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including their knowledge of times tables.
