Holmwood House School, Colchester, 11 Plus (11+) Admissions

 

Registering for places includes a payment of a £50 non-refundable fee. In the next stage of the admissions process, your child will sit formal assessments, held in November of the year preceding entry. There will also be an interview with the Head.

 

Holmwood House sends out offers in December, to be confirmed by the deadline in March. Please note that acceptance of places includes a payment of a deposit.

 

Holmwood House School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries

 

The school offers Academic, Sports and Creative Arts Scholarships to able and gifted 11+ applicants. Academic awards are allocated on the grounds of strong performance in the entrance examinations, while Sports and Arts awards are offered following success in separate assessments, taking place in January/February of the calendar year of entry.
