Brighton College is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school in Brighton. Founded in 1845 by William Aldwin Soames, the school has international campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bangkok and Dubai.
For pupils in Years 1-5, Brighton College’s teaching professionals provide lessons in a broad range of subject areas, including English, maths, humanities, science, religious studies, PSHE, music, Mandarin, MFL, art and PE.
To further enable children’s full development and meet their specific interests, the school offers over 100 clubs, covering everything from Lego robotics, knitting and chess to movie-making, taekwondo and golf.
ISI recently awarded the school a perfect score in every single category and an ‘Exceptional’ rating for Achievements and Learning, which only a few schools in the UK have received so far. Brighton College has also been awarded the prestigious title of ‘School of the Decade’ by The Sunday Times.
The school’s strong achievements are, to a great extent, due to the outstanding pastoral care provision, which includes opportunities for parents to be directly involved in their child’s development. Fully invested in maximising the spiritual, moral, social and cultural growth of pupils, the staff are guided by the principles of kindness and tolerance, adding up to the harmonious and diverse community of able and resilient learners.
