Introduction

Homefield Preparatory School is an independent preparatory day school for boys in Sutton, Surrey. It recently celebrated its 150th anniversary, and grounded in such a rich heritage, it nurtures a forward looking ethos that fully prepares children for the challenges of modern life. [1]

In Year 3 and above, the cohort follows a broad curriculum that features an abundance of relevant subject options, such as STEAM, computing, Latin, science and PSHE. Parents are well informed of their child’s progress, closely collaborating with staff in the face of difficulty.

The extracurricular programme ensures pupils’ development beyond the classroom environment. Everything from LAMDA, judo and tennis to debating, choir and chess is on offer, underpinning a fulfilling learning experience that’s grounded in excellence and perpetual growth. [2]

Homefield’s main priority is to provide a safe setting where individual talents flourish and its efforts to produce independent thinkers are met with enthusiasm. Generously providing a top-notch education, the school emerges stronger after each challenge, as do all the members of its vibrant community.
