Classes in the Prep school are co-educational. Pupils benefit from a broad curriculum which covers maths, English, science, DT, humanities, PSHE, art and PE.
The breadth of co-curricular activities on offer allows pupils to fully explore their interests and abilities, amplifying their aesthetic, creative and physical growth via clubs such as Dance, Fencing, LAMDA, Yoga, Orchestra and many others.
The robust pastoral care system includes the Wellbeing programme, which allows staff to network with parents and guardians and assist them in preparing their children for adulthood. For this purpose, the school holds forums, where parents can address any concerns and ask specialist staff members questions of interest to their child.
In line with the school’s motto Virtue, learning and manners, pupils at Brentwood mature into well-rounded adults grounded in intellectual curiosity, resilience and strong moral purpose. The inclusive community recognises and values each pupil individually, providing them with a wide range of opportunities to accomplish the best possible academic outcomes.
