Admissions Process for Westminster Under School Eleven Plus (11+) for Year 7 entry

Open Days

Open mornings take place every year in the Autumn Term, allowing prospective parents and pupils to get a feel for the school environment and meet current pupils and staff. Open mornings also include a talk from the Master of the Great School (Westminster senior school) Patrick Derham.

For dates of up and coming opening mornings and to book, click here.

Online applications can be submitted from two years before the proposed date of entry. At the latest, boys must be registered by the week before October half-term in the year before their intended September entry. Visit the school website for key dates.

Entrance Exams

In late November or early December, boys sit the online ISEB Common Pre-test either at the Under School or at their existing school. These tests are also used by a number of other senior schools and may only be taken once. For further information on the ISEB Pre-test, visit our sister site: www.pretestplus.co.uk, where you will find full details and our own online practice tests.

After the computerised testing is complete, some boys are invited back to Westminster Under School to sit additional written papers in English and Mathematics.
