Introduction
Surbiton High School is an independent school in Surbiton in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Greater London. It teaches girls and boys separately in the Prep School, which is divided into two separate buildings. [1]
Surbiton High Boys’ Preparatory School educates boys through a challenging programme of curricular activities, comprising art, drama, English, history, geography, languages, maths, music, science, sports, religious education and reasoning.
The Girls’ Prep School delivers lessons in a similar range of subject areas, including music, MFL, physical education, mathematics, English, computing, art and science. Inspired by the ideas of author and professor Guy Claxton in The Learning Powered School, the school encourages notional learning habits which aim to help girls fully explore the curriculum content.

Surbiton High School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
The admissions process for both schools begins with registration. The fee of £100 is non-refundable.
Once registered, your child will be invited to the school to sit examinations, taking place in January.

If offered, a place at the school is secured with a payment of a £1000 deposit.
