Introduction
Portsmouth High School is an independent day school for girls in Southsea, a district in the southern coastal city of Portsmouth. Founded in 1882 by the GDST, it performs consistently well in terms of examination results. [1]

Prior to offering your daughter a place, the school will look into her academic ability, assessed on Taster Day. To schedule assessments, please register your daughter with the school first. The registration fee is £50.
An acceptance of a place includes a payment of a deposit, refunded during your child’s last term at the school.
