GBThese papers are excellent preparation for the CSSE 11 plus exams. They follow exactly the same format as recently published CSSE papers and are pitched at the right level. I particularly like the fact that (unlike the 'real' published papers) these have worked answers for the maths paper, which means that if your child has not answered correctly and can't work out why their answer is incorrect, there is a clear explanation of the steps to follow for success. This is particularly useful for parents, who want to guide their children by may have forgotten specific maths concepts themselves. In the English papers, all the currently included elements are there and mirror exactly the difficulty of the text for the comprehension questions; the style of Applied Reasoning questions and the two writing tasks (one of which has been latterly, a picture prompt.) I would feel very confident in using these papers are final preparation before the actual exam.
GBI found question patterns are very similar to real exams. So, it is good practice material to conduct mock at home. I also didn't find errors in marking scheme as we sometimes do in others.
