Introduction

Aylesbury High School, also known as AHS, is an all-girls grammar school that educates around 1300 students. Recognised for its academic excellence, the school consistently ranks in the top 100 nationally, based on exam results. [1]

Operational since 1959, AHS centres its efforts on thoroughly preparing students for their future endeavours. Accordingly, it offers a competitive curriculum that covers a broad range of areas, including languages, sciences, humanities and technology.

Encouraging creative expression is also one of the school’s top priorities. AHS offers a rich selection of performing arts activities, promoting girls’ cultural and artistic growth by urging their participation in various annual productions and concerts. [2]

AHS is a designated Eco school, therefore, environmental awareness is actively fostered within its diverse, inclusive and vibrant community. Its facilities are modern and spacious, including five netball courts and six tennis courts where girls can socialise, have fun and explore their sporting abilities to the fullest.
