Introduction
Manchester High School for Girls (MHSG) is an independent day school for girls in Fallowfield, Manchester. Founded in 1874, the school is part of the Girls’ School Association and has a long list of notable alumni, including entrepreneurs, judges, historians, politicians, archeologists and journalists. In the Prep School, the strong academic provision is supported by a broad curriculum which focuses on developing girls’ skills in maths, English, science, art, humanities and PE, among others.
Growing in confidence on a daily basis, girls take part in a range of extracurricular activities, such as taekwondo, swimming, fencing, hockey, street dance, ballet, football, gardening and athletics. Manchester High School for Girls 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
