King’s Hall School 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
Registration forms should be completed and returned to the Head of Admissions together with a £100 registration fee. In this way, your child will be considered for the 8+ assessments. As part of the entry procedure, their school report and references will be requested.
Offers of places are made the week following assessment day, to be accepted with a payment of a deposit.

The King’s Hall School 8 Plus (8+) exam consists of the following assessments:

The English exam examines comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and spelling. Marks will be awarded for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesion and sentence structure.
