Basic information: The Cathedral School Llandaff is a co-ed independent day school in Llandaff, a district north of the Welsh capital Cardiff. The Whole School Open Morning takes place in October and offers families the unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the school’s provision and philosophy. The events, commencing with an address from the Head, typically include tours of premises and informal meetings with teaching staff.
The Cathedral School Llandaff 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
If places are available, you are welcome to register your child for a Year 4 place using a registration form. The registration fee of £100 is non-refundable.
Your child will then be invited to attend a Taster Day, during which they will be assessed. As part of the admissions process, reports and a reference from their current school will be obtained.
Please note that, if your child is offered a place, you will be asked to secure it with a payment of a £500 deposit.
