Introduction
St. Joseph’s College is a co-educational grammar school in Trent Vale, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Founded by the Christian Brothers in 1932, the school occupies a Grade II listed building.
In Year 7, pupils study art, DT, English, Spanish, French, games, geography, history, ICT, mathematics, music, physical education, religious education and science.
Recently, 97% of the school’s A level students passed their courses, with 51% achieving A* to B grades and 24% of grades at A or A*.

To apply for a place at St. Joseph’s College, you should complete an application via the Local Authority in which you live, naming St. Joseph’s College on the application form.
The registration deadline is in September and the exam takes place later that month. A Supplementary Information. St. Joseph’s College has no designated catchment area.
The entrance test, assessing skills in two areas, will take place in September. Results from the assessments will be made known in October. The required mark is 105. In case your child fails to achieve the required score of 105, they will not pass the examination stage of the admissions process.

- Baptised Catholic children whose sibling/siblings will attend St. Joseph’s College the following year
