Introduction
Meoncross School is a co-educational independent school located in the village of Stubbington, near Fareham in Hampshire. Established in 1953, the school includes numerous purpose-built facilities and a 2.5 hectare sports field.
Specifically designed to be broad, creative and challenging, the Upper School curriculum offers opportunities from Latin to Computer Science, taught by dedicated secondary subject specialists who employ a variety of inspiring pedagogical approaches.
Extra-curricular activities include everything from tennis, hockey, rugby and cricket, to Choir, the Saxophone group and Orchestra. Clubs are also very popular, including Newspaper Club, Debating, Film Appreciation Society, First Aid Club, Gardening, Debating, Computer Coding, Chess and Cookery.

Meoncross School 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
The first step of the admissions process includes registration. The online registration form should be completed and submitted along with a non-refundable registration fee of £150.
Your child will then be invited to attend two Taster Days to become more familiar with the school and sit a formal assessment.
After the assessment, you will be invited for a meeting to discuss your child’s performance. You will be asked to bring their latest school report along. At the meeting, you may receive an offer of a place.
To accept the offer, you will be expected to sign a contract and pay a £350 refundable deposit by the deadline specified in your offer letter.
Meoncross School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
The school offers Academic, Sport and Creative Arts Scholarships. In addition to the prestige of becoming a Scholar, there will also be a reduction in school fees.
If your child is eligible for more than one financial award, e.g. a sibling discount and a Scholarship, only the value of the greater award will be applied to school fees.
Means-tested bursaries are not available.
