Basic information: The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent day and boarding school in Hertfordshire. Established in 1788, it occupies a beautiful 316-acre site in Rickmansworth Park. [1]

RMS for Girls, Cadogan House, 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
To register your daughter for 8+ entry, you should complete and return the registration form by the deadline in early December. The registration fee of £100 is non-refundable. Prior to this, please reach out to the Registrar to discuss availability of places, as 8+ is not the school’s standard point of entry.
The acceptance deposit to secure your child’s place at the school is £750.

The English exam examines comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and spelling. Marks will be awarded for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesion and sentence structure.
