The Leys School 13 Plus (13+) Admissions for Year 9 Boarders
The admissions process for boarding pupils, who wish to take the pre-test while in Year 6 to secure their Year 9 place, begins with registration. The registration form can be accessed through this page and should be submitted with a payment of a non-refundable fee.
The pre-test should be completed by the end of March upon agreement between you, your child’s current school and The Leys. If Leys offers your child a place, they will get in touch to schedule an interview with the Headmaster and reach out to your child’s current school to obtain a confidential reference.
The Leys School 13 Plus (13+) Pre-Test Scholarships and Bursaries
The Leys provides various awards, including Academic, Art, Drama, Music and Sport Scholarships. These come with a 5% fee reduction, regardless of the number of scholarships received. Scholarships can, however, be coupled with a means-tested bursary, leading to significant further reductions in fees.
Means-tested bursaries are available to families facing financial difficulties. The value of these awards can range from 5% to 100% of the fees, depending on the level of financial need.
