Set to formally open its doors in September, it will accommodate children aged 2 to 13 and provide relevant education, rooted in exceptionally high standards.

The Brighton College Prep Kensington 7 Plus (7+) entrance exam covers the following areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Reasoning
All of the above subjects are assessed through standardised, multiple-choice assessments.
The English test will measure comprehension skills, such as: vocabulary; inference; your child’s ability to distinguish between factual statements and opinions; their ability to read, understand and interpret age-appropriate texts, etc.
The mathematics test will evaluate the following skills: problem-solving; measurement; fractions and decimals; basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, etc.
The Reasoning test includes Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The Verbal Reasoning section is designed to test logical thinking, use of English language and vocabulary. The Non-Verbal Reasoning section measures the ability to understand, interpret and problem-solve, testing logic and intelligence rather than knowledge. Elements of Spatial Reasoning may also be included.
