Our Lady of Sion School is an independent co-educational school located in Worthing, West Sussex. Established in 1862, the school is part of a worldwide network of schools founded by the Sisters of Sion.

Our Lady of Sion School 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
To register your child with the school, you will be expected to pay a non-refundable fee of £50.
Offers are made subject to your child’s performance in the entrance test, the interview with the Headmaster and satisfactory references from their current school.
To accept the offer, you will be asked to pay a deposit of £250 (refunded at the end of your child’s time at the school) to secure the place.
Our Lady of Sion School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
Academic Scholarships are awarded upon outstanding performance in the entrance exam and an additional interview.
The school also awards Music, Art, Drama, Dance and Sports Scholarships. The value of all awards is 10-20% of the fees. In exceptional circumstances, the deduction of fees may be higher.
Scholarships are valid throughout your child’s time at the school. However, they are reviewed annually. Note that only a small percentage of applications are successful as scholarships are limited.
The school offers means-tested awards annually. To be considered for one, you should indicate your interest on the Registration Form first. Both parents will be asked to provide proof of income and assets.
Other factors will be also be considered, including:
- Family circumstances
- Costs associated with other dependants (e.g. sick or disabled parents or children)
- Substantial realisable equity and ownership of other properties or assets
- In cases of separation, the contribution of the non-resident parent
- Contributions to fees or household costs by other family members.
