Introduction
Quinton House School is a co-educational independent school in Upton, Northampton. Owned and operated by the Cognita Group, it occupies a beautiful Grade I listed building. [1]
The curriculum in the Prep School is delivered in a way that challenges and stretches children in the subject areas where they demonstrate stronger ability while providing additional support in those areas they tend to struggle with.
The school ensures that the transition into the Senior School is smooth and effortless, allowing pupils to have a lot of fun in the process. Hence, the programme of extracurricular activities is broad and varied, engaging children in exciting pursuits such as Quiz Club, Junior African Beaters, orchestra, taekwondo, chess and cookery.
According to the most recent ISI reports for the school, pupils are courteous and outgoing, taking full advantage of the pastoral care which was characterised as ‘excellent’ by the inspectors. Benefitting from numerous opportunities to showcase their talents, children grow in confidence and access further education with a maximised capacity for learning and all-round growth. [2]
