Wimbledon High School 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
8+ is not the school’s standard point of entry, hence to start the admissions process, you should complete and submit this online form or reach out to the Admission Team. The registration fee is £125.
The assessments for Year 4 entry include formal examinations and interactive group exercises. If a place is offered, you will be asked to secure it with a payment of a deposit.

Wimbledon High School 8 Plus (8+) Exam Format
The Wimbledon High School 8 Plus (8+) exam consists of the following assessments:

- Mathematics
The English assessment examines comprehension and writing skills, including spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and oral skills.
The Maths exam assesses problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including your child’s knowledge of times tables.
Please note that there may also be a Reasoning test.
The Verbal Reasoning section of the reasoning test is designed to test and assess logical thinking, use of English language and vocabulary.
The Non-Verbal Reasoning section of the reasoning test measures the ability to understand, interpret and problem-solve, testing logic and intelligence rather than knowledge.
