Stockport Grammar School is a co-ed independent day school in Cheshire. The second oldest school in the North of England, it has educated many notable alumni, including historians, professors, journalists and engineers. [1]

The Open Event at Stockport Grammar for Year 3 entry is held in September, offering families the rare opportunity to visit campus and engage in a range of activities. Stockport Grammar School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
Registration for 7+ places includes a payment of a £40 application fee. Your child will then be invited to attend a Taster Day, during which they will be assessed for entry.
Within a few days, the school will communicate your child’s results. If they are offered a place, you will be asked to reserve it with a payment of a deposit.
