Introduction
Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School is a co-educational establishment founded in 1963 and located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Although it might be younger than other schools, the school has invested heavily in developing a modern and innovative school programme that provides its pupils with the technological knowledge they need to navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
The curriculum at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School is broad and challenging during all key stages, extending far beyond the national curriculum. Pupils cover main subjects such as physics, English, chemistry, and mathematics, but also have the opportunity to learn graphic design, food science, philosophy, and ethics.
Regarding extra-curricular activities, the school believes that overall educational well-being is much more than just grades. Many clubs and activities are available that pupils can partake in, including an advanced tech club, performing arts clubs, food science club, feminist society, and many more, etc.
The school works hard to empower visionaries of the future and sees itself as a pioneer in this modern educational approach. The school’s diverse and inclusive environment gives pupils a unique opportunity to engage in academic exchanges and enhance their emotional intelligence. It takes great pride in its strong sense of community and profoundly appreciates the exemplary conduct and attitudes of pupils.
Considering how much the school invests in its educational plan and innovative technologies, it’s no surprise that its pupils regularly show remarkable results, which Ofsted reports as “Outstanding”. [1]
