Introduction
RGS Dodderhill is an independent girls’ school located near Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. Founded in 1945 as Dodderhill School, it merged with the RGS Worcester family of schools in 2019. [1]
Although pupils’ strongest achievements are in the areas of sciences, English and mathematics, children who have an affinity towards art, music or performance are also very well-catered for. A varied sporting activities programme is on offer, challenging and engaging girls in a variety of competitive sports such as netball, football, cricket, hockey, athletics and gymnastics.

If you wish to familiarise your daughter with everything on offer at RGS Dodderhill, you should attend the Open Morning events or schedule a personal visit during a school day. On campus, you will have the opportunity to take a tour and hear from the Head. Members of staff will be on hand to provide details about the admissions process.
RGS Dodderhill 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
Registration includes a payment of a £45 non-refundable fee. The registration form can be found on this page.
The school’s staff will then reach out to schedule a Taster day, during which your daughter will be assessed. A reference from her current school will also be sought for.
Based on her positive assessment results and reference, she may be offered a place, which you will be asked to secure with a payment of a £100 deposit.

RGS Dodderhill 7 Plus (7+) Exam Format
The RGS Dodderhill 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:
- English
- Mathematics
- Verbal Reasoning
The English exam tests comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and oral skills.
The Maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including her knowledge of times tables.
The Verbal Reasoning section of the exam is designed to test and assess her logical thinking, use of English language and vocabulary.
