RGS Dodderhill is an independent day school for girls in Worcestershire. Part of the RGS Worcester family of schools since 2019, RGS Dodderhill maintains a strong academic record despite its relatively small size. Since it doesn’t have a Sixth Form, many girls continue their education at RGS Worcester.

Open Mornings allow families to meet the teaching staff and Senior Leadership Team and ask questions of interest.
Personal visits during a normal school morning can also be arranged. They include a meeting with the Headmistress and a personalised tour of the school, with the option to briefly attend lectures.
RGS Dodderhill 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
After the visit, you may wish to register your daughter with the school. To do so, you should complete a registration form and pay a fee of £45. A reference from her current school will also be requested.
Your daughter will be assessed and interviewed on Taster Day/Assessment Morning. If, following the exam and interview, an offer of a place is made, you should accept it in writing and pay a deposit of £100 to secure her place.
RGS Dodderhill 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
RGS Dodderhill awards the Price Scholarship for academic ability to a Year 7 applicant following the entrance exams. The award is the equivalent of one term’s fees.
Additionally, there is the Davidson Music Scholarship, worth £1000 a year. More details are available from the school office.
To apply for a bursary, you should submit a bursary application form, available from the Bursar, along with documents related to income and assets.You will be informed of the outcome of the bursary application before the end of the spring term.

The RGS Dodderhill 11+ exam consists of the following papers:
- Verbal Reasoning
The English paper examines both comprehension and writing skills, including inference, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation. Marks will be awarded for good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesion and sentence structure.
The maths exam assesses your daughter’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills. The paper may include questions on number, measurement, geometry, algebra and statistics.
The Verbal Reasoning paper is designed to test and assess her logical thinking, use of English language and vocabulary.
