This Clinic will focus on Algebra, including ‘alphametics’, where digits are replaced by letters.
These Online Maths Clinics have been devised by Mary Ellis, specifically for Exam Papers Plus customers, focusing on tricky areas of the maths syllabus.
They are designed for children that are entering Year 6 this September and are targeting the UK’s most academic and competitive schools.
Mary has created a set of six sessions, focusing on topics which students often find the trickiest. She will not only explain how to decipher questions and utilise maths knowledge to tackle seemingly overwhelming problems, but she will also provide tips and tricks for working speedily and accurately, eliminating silly errors and explain to students how to pick up each and every mark.
Each 1.5-hour session is stand-alone, focusing on one key topic area. Prior to each session, students will receive their exclusive workbook by email and follow up material, including answers, will be sent after the session.
Sessions will be supportive and interactive, and students will get the opportunity to ask questions and work together.
These clinics will be taught in small groups online over Zoom. Once you have booked your child’s place, we will send you the Zoom link to join.
