Leighton Park School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries
For Year 7 entry, there is no requirement to apply for an academic scholarship since candidates are invited to a scholarship assessment based on their performance in the entrance examination. The scholarship assessment consists of a written assessment and a 20-30 minute interview with a member of the school’s academic team (for each academic subject selected).
Note that there are certain expectations of scholars: they need to be academic ambassadors within the school, enter relevant competitions and act as mentors to younger students.
The school also offers scholarships in the areas of design, arts and sports.
Bursaries are applied on means-tested basis. Applications are reviewed by Bursary Administration Ltd (BAL) following a visit to your home. Bursaries are allocated based on the decision of the school’s Bursary Committee and are reviewed annually.
For more information about scholarships and bursaries, please visit the school’s website.
