Introduction
Hurstpierpoint College is an independent, co-educational, day and boarding school located just to the north of the village of Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. Member of the Woodard Corporation, Hurst has recently been rated as ‘Excellent’ by ISI in all assessed categories. [1] [2]

Hurstpierpoint Prep School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
Registrations for Year 3 places include a payment of £100 registration fee. You are advised by the school to register your child at least 18 months prior to entry.
Based on your child’s performance in the 7+ assessments and interview, in conjunction with school references, they may receive an offer, to be accepted with a payment of a deposit.

The Hurstpierpoint Prep School 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:

- Mathematics
- Reasoning
The English exam examines comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and their oral skills.
The Maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including their knowledge of times tables.
The Verbal Reasoning section of the Reasoning test is designed to test and assess your child’s logical thinking, use of English language and vocabulary.
The Non-Verbal Reasoning section of the reasoning test measures their ability to understand, interpret and problem-solve, testing logic and intelligence rather than knowledge.
