Open Mornings are the perfect opportunity to learn more about the school and its philosophy. These events usually include guided tours of facilities and meetings with key staff members and the Head. Parents who prefer a more personalised visit can always schedule an individual tour through the Admissions Office.
Hereford Cathedral School 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
If the visit indicates that the school is a good fit, you should proceed to schedule a Taster session for your child. There will be two consecutive taster days, during which your child will be buddied up with pupils their age and sit (informal) assessments. Please note that, subject to their results, they may be invited back to the school to sit further, formal examinations.
In the following stage, you should complete a registration form and submit it together with a payment of a £75 fee. If your child is selected for entry, you will receive an acceptance form which should be submitted with a payment of a £150 fee.
