Heathfield School is an independent boarding and day school in Ascot, Berkshire. The school is settled on 36 acres on the edge of Ascot, and was founded in 1899 by Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt.
In Year 7, girls take lessons in art, biology, chemistry, drama, English, French, Spanish, geography, history, mathematics, music, physical education, physics, religious studies, textiles and Latin.
Within the co-curricular programme, girls take part in a range of clubs and activities, such as the Art Scholars Club, Athena Society, Cookery, Debating Club, Maths Clinics, Photography Club and many others.

Open Events for Heathfield School 11 plus (11+) Entry
Open Mornings include presentations, followed by a pupil-led tour of the school. The teaching staff will be on hand to answer questions of interest to your daughter. Displays and activities in all areas will also take place, concluding with refreshments and a meeting with the Headmistress and other members of the school community.
Taster Days are held in May, whilst individual tours of the school and a meeting with the Headmistress can be arranged at any time during the working week. For more information, please reach out to the Registrar.
Heathfield School 11 Plus (11+) Admissions
If you wish your daughter to be invited for assessment and considered for a place at the school, you should complete the online registration form available on the school’s website and pay a £200 registration fee.
The assessment takes place in November of the year prior to entry. Via the assessment, the school aims to evaluate potential rather than knowledge. Your daughter will also attend an interview with the Headmistress and participate in workshops.
As a part of the evaluation, the school will request a reference from your daughter’s current school.
Scholarships at 11+ are awarded in the following categories: Academic, All-Rounder, Art, Drama, Music and Sport.
Scholarships awarded in Year 7 will remain in place until the end of your daughter’s time at the school. If she meets the specified criteria, she will be invited to a Scholarship Day during which she will be interviewed and take an academic paper or practical assessment.
Bursaries are means-tested and applications are only considered if your daughter is registered and you’ve paid the registration fee. Entrance Bursaries are awarded to new applicants and typically cover between 10% and 50% of tuition and boarding fees.
Larger bursaries of up to 100% are sometimes offered, depending on your financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances. Bursaries can also supplement a scholarship. Application forms are available from the Bursar.

CEM Select examines your daughter’s skills in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Numerical Reasoning. The test is appropriate to her age and year of entry.
