Introduction

 

Harris Federation is a multi-academy trust of 48 primary and secondary academies in and around London, sponsored by Lord Harris of Peckham. Regularly featured at the top of league tables as a top-performing multi-academy trust, Harris Federation caters for approximately 36,000 pupils. [1]

 

Characterised by high academic standards, Harris schools have received many accolades from OFSTED, who rated 73% of the total number of secondary academies as ‘outstanding’. Harris Academy Beckenham 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Academy Beckenham, previously known as Kelsey Park Sports College, is a secondary school in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley. The school opened in 1875 and catered for boys exclusively, before becoming co-educational in 2011. [1]

 

Applications for Year 7 entry are processed by the Local Authority, not the school itself, thus you will need to complete and submit the Common Application Form supplied to you by the Local Authority. The deadline for submissions is in late October of the year preceding entry. 

 

The Year 6 Banding test will take place in December. [2]

 

Harris Academy Bermondsey 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Academy Bermondsey is a secondary school for girls located in Bermondsey, in the London Borough of Southwark. According to a recent OFSTED report, the quality of education and achievements there is ‘outstanding’. [1] [2]

 

The school’s PAN number is 180. Applications for places are made online, through the website of your Local Authority. In case of oversubscription, priority will be given to looked after or previously looked after children; students with significant medical/social needs; students whose siblings attend the academy; pupils who attend Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park and those who live closest to the school. [3]

 

As part of the admission process, your daughter will be asked to sit a Banding test. Her results will be made known on the first day of March (of the year preceding entry).

 

Harris Academy Bromley 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley is a secondary school for girls in Beckenham in the London Borough of Bromley. Established in 1919 under the name Cator Park School for Girls, it caters for around 1170 pupils. [1]

 

Recently rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED, the school admits pupils from various backgrounds. Applications are made through the Local Authority, which then provides parents with the Common Application Form.

 

Your daughter will be asked to sit a Banding test in December, which will help the school determine her level of ability. Results are made known at the beginning of March. [2]

Harris Garrard Academy is a co-ed all-through school with academy status in Thamesmead, Erith, Greater London. Occupying a beautiful 33-acre campus, the academy admits pupils through a straightforward admissions process, governed by the Local Authority. [1

 

The Common Application Form can be accessed through this page and should be returned to your Local Authority by the beginning of November of the year preceding entry. The admissions process includes a Banding test, taken by students in early December. [2]

 

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon is based in Croydon, Greater London. It is a co-educational school with over 820 students on the roll. [1]

 

Recently rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED, the school welcomes prospective families on campus during Open Morning/Evening events, held in October. [2]

 

Applications for places should be made using the Common Application Form, which can be accessed through this page. Please note that applications must be made through the Local Authority only and not directly to Harris Invictus Academy.

The school’s PAN number is 180. In order for your child to be considered for a place, you should complete the Common Application Form by the deadline in late October of the year preceding entry. Harris Academy Falconwood is a city academy in Falconwood, London. A co-educational school, it educates around 1,190 students. [1]

 

Prior to applying for a place, you should consider attending the school’s Open Events. These typically run in September, allowing prospective families to explore facilities and meet staff members. 

 

When applying for a place, please remember to complete the Common Application Form using this portal. Your child will then be invited to the school to attend the Harris Testing Day, during which they will sit a Banding test. [2]

 

Harris Academy Greenwich 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Academy Greenwich was formerly known as Eltham Foundation School. It is located in the Eltham area of the Royal Borough of Greenwich in London and is a well-performing co-educational facility. [1]

 

The school holds two Banding tests: the first one is in October of the year preceding entry and it allows you to see your child’s banding prior to applying for a place. The second and final Banding test (for families who have missed the first one) is held in December. Please note that there is a deadline for completing the Common Application Form. A co-ed academy, Harris Academy Purley was previously known as Haling Manor High School. Located in South Croydon, it has specialist status in music. [1]

 

The school holds Open Evenings and Open Mornings for prospective families, allowing them to experience the friendly learning atmosphere and learn details about the admissions process. 

 

The academy’s PAN number is 190 and the entrance procedure commences with the completion of the Common Application Form, which can be accessed through this page. In December, your child will be invited to the school to sit a Banding test. [2]

 

Harris Academy South Norwood 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Academy South Norwood is a co-ed school in South Norwood, London. It caters for around 1870 pupils and was recently rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. [1]

 

HASN welcomes 360 pupils in Year 7. To apply for a place, you should complete the online CAF form by the deadline in late October of the year preceding entry. Please note that applications made directly to the school, instead of the Local Authority, will not be considered.

 

In December, your child will attend testing at the school’s premises, which will help group them into a proper ability band. [2]

 

Harris Academy Tottenham 11+ Exam Information » Banding Test

 

Harris Academy Tottenham (HATO) is a co-ed all-through school in Tottenham Hale in London. Opened in 2014, it was recently rated as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED across all categories. [1]

 

The academy’s PAN number is 150 and pupils must apply for a place through a page administered by the Local Authority. Applications made directly to the school will not be considered. [2]
