Godolphin admits candidates through the Godolphin Assessment and Scholarship process, administered in accordance with the HMC guidelines.

Prior to entry, your daughter must meet the school’s entrance criteria based on how likely she is to achieve success within the curricular and co-curricular programme. The school regularly assesses the girls throughout their time there to ensure that they are committed to becoming confident, responsible and well educated adults.

During your visit at Godolphin, or upon your request, you will be provided with a registration form to be returned to the Head of Admissions, together with a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate and a non-refundable registration fee of £100.

In this way, your daughter will be placed on the list for the proposed year of entry. To receive an official offer of a place, she will be expected to meet the school’s standard in the entrance examinations and interview. Offers are posted within two weeks of the examinations.

At this stage, you should complete and return a form of acceptance, together with a non-refundable acceptance fee of £500. There will be an additional fee of £1,000 which will be refunded during your daughter’s first term at Godolphin.

Godolphin School 11 Plus (11+) Scholarships and Bursaries

The school offers means tested bursaries, for which you will be asked to complete a Confidential Statement of Financial Services form. An independent company, Bursary Administration Ltd (BAL), reviews and assesses bursary applications.

Six Foundation Bursaries, each worth 70% of the full (boarding) fees, are available to girls in need due to family circumstances such as a death in the family or divorce. The Old Godolphin Bursary is awarded to the daughter of an Old Godolphin pupil.

Note that the school assists only girls who meet the school’s entrance standard through Common Entrance or other entry papers and an interview. To find out more about these awards, please visit the school’s website.
