Introduction
Framlingham College is an independent, co-ed boarding and day school in the town of Framlingham, near Woodbridge. The most recent ISI inspection rated the teaching and learning at the college as ‘Excellent’. [1]
The range of curricular opportunities comprises the core subjects maths, English and science, complemented with a number of cross-curricular disciplines, including MFL, humanities, PE, music, art, DT and ICT.
An array of enrichment opportunities is also available, mainly delivered through the ‘Learning for Life’ programme which covers drama, ballet, gardening, fencing, cookery, coding and debating, among others.

Framlingham College 7 Plus (7+) Admissions
To register your child with the school, you will be asked to complete a registration form, which can be found here.
Entry is subject to your child’s results in academic examinations and the quality of their current-school reports and references. The examination will be scheduled at a mutually convenient date.
To accept an offer of a place, you will be asked to sign a Parent Contract and return it with a £200 deposit.

The Framlingham College 7 Plus (7+) exam consists of the following assessments:

- Mathematics
The English exam tests comprehension and writing skills, including inference, punctuation and grammar, as well as the fluency of your child’s reading and oral skills.
The Maths exam assesses your child’s problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills, including their knowledge of times tables.
