Introduction
Exeter School is an independent, co-educational day school in Devon. Occupying a 25-acre site with numerous facilities, it was rated ‘excellent’ in all eight areas in its most recent ISI inspection.
The curriculum covers art, classical civilisation, drama, design technology, computer science, humanities, music, Latin, religious studies, MFL, English, maths, science and PE.
Exeter School regularly organises cross-border expeditions, including visits to the World War One battlefields in Belgium and northern France, as well as geography trips to Iceland, Switzerland and Sicily.
Together with the architecture firm Squires and Brown, the Governors of Exeter School have developed a ‘masterplan’ to support their aspirations for the future, which include a complete refurbishment of the Science block and an expansion of the school’s green space.
