Introduction
Basic information: Chigwell School is a co-ed day and boarding independent school in Chigwell, in the Epping Forest district of Essex. It dates back to 1619 and occupies 100 acres of land, located 10 miles from London. [1]

Chigwell Junior School 8 Plus (8+) Admissions
8+ is not the school’s standard point of entry. The admissions process includes registration, with a deadline in late November of the year preceding entry. There may also be an interview.
If your child is offered a place, you will be asked to confirm the place with a payment of a deposit. The deadline for confirmations is in early March.
