A majority of UK grammar schools use 11+ papers set by GL Assessment. The GL Assessment papers are multiple choice and can include Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and/or Non-Verbal Reasoning.

The Reading School Year 7 Entrance Test is sect by FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise Ltd). This year the test may include questions on any of the following KS2 subjects: Art & Design, Languages, Computing, Mathematics, Design & Technology, Music, English, Physical Education, Geography, Science and History. There is also a paper requiring a creative written response.

 

FSCE (Future Stories Community Enterprise Ltd) is a subsidiary of Reading School. They set the Year 7 Entrance Test for Reading School.

They also set multiple-choice and free-response question papers in English, Maths and Creative Writing for an increasing number of other UK grammar schools, including:

This pack includes a dedicated test for each of the Key Stage 2 subjects that may be included in the Reading School Year 7 Entrance Test, covering knowledge and skills from the relevant programme of study up to and including Year 5: Art & Design, Languages, Computing, Mathematics, Design & Technology, Music, English, Physical Education, Geography, Science and History.

Each test is made up of multiple choice and short answer questions, which reflect the style of the questions on the Adventure, Beacon and Compass Papers.
