Introduction

Bradfield College is a co-educational independent school for day and boarding pupils, located in the small village of Bradfield in Berkshire. Founded in 1850 by Thomas Stevens, Rector and Lord of the Manor of Bradfield, the school is known for producing plays in Ancient Greek in its open-air amphitheatre.

In Year 9, all pupils study English, mathematics, sciences, art, design & technology, physical education, ICT, PSHE, performing arts, classics, humanities and MFL.

Clubs and Societies are an essential part of the co-curricular programme. They range from Anatomy & Dissection Society, Astronomy Club, Book Club and Creative Writing Society, to Debating Society, Design & Technology, Film Production Club and Jewellery Club.

The school actively promotes inclusive open-mindedness, encouraging diversity and service to the community. Whilst identifying and developing interests and talents, pupils learn to cope with challenging situations and take responsibility for themselves, and thus acquire skills that enable them to play an active part in society.

  • Dr Gray All Rounder Scholarship
  • Art and Design Scholarship
  • Drama Scholarship

When deciding on the level of support, the school also takes into account compassionate and other relevant circumstances.

Bursaries are awarded approximately six months before the start of the academic year and are subject to annual review. The annual review may cause a variation in the amount of bursarial support.

If you wish to apply for bursarial support, you must submit your request when completing the Provisional Registration Form. For more details, please visit the school’s website.
